Who we are

Compatible Country (mostcompatiblecountryquiz.com) is operated by Celados, which is the controller of the personal data described here. Questions go to hello@mostcompatiblecountryquiz.com.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we store:

• your email address;
• the page you signed up from, the referring site and any campaign (UTM) tags in the link you followed;
• when you signed up and, if we ask you to, when you confirmed your address.

When you browse, our own analytics records which pages you view and which buttons you press, with a random visitor ID kept in a cookie and your browser’s local storage so a visit counts once. It never records what you type, your email address or your screen. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is recorded.

Like any web server, our hosting provider sees your IP address to deliver pages and stop abuse.

Why we use it

• To tell you when the product is ready and send occasional product updates about this site only. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To understand which pages are useful and improve them. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the site.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

A sign-up on Compatible Country is not linked with sign-ups on any other site, and we do not use it to market other products. We do not sell personal data or use advertising cookies.

Who processes it

• Cloudflare: hosting, security and email delivery.
• Convex: the database that stores the waitlist.
• Celados’s own analytics service at stat.celados.com: page views and button presses.

These providers process data only on our instructions. Some of them are located outside your country.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist entry until you ask us to delete it or until we close the site, after which it is deleted within 90 days. Analytics events carry only the random visitor ID and are kept only as long as we need them to measure how the site is used.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by writing to hello@mostcompatiblecountryquiz.com. We answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Compatible Country is not directed at children under 13 (16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
